Product Overview

The Opus One™ detection system includes a customized compact desktop cryostat with up to 16 preinstalled nanowire detectors, optics-lab-friendly water-cooled compressor, bias and high-speed amplifier electronics, and easy-to-use software control libraries. Proprietary nanowire materials allow operation at > 2 K, enabling continuous operation for approximately 3 years without interruption or recharge.

Each optimized for standard center wavelengths (950 nm or 1550 nm) or custom specified response curves. High efficiency devices with broadband response and mid-infrared (~3μm wavelength) sensitivity are also available. Multiple detector and fiber types can be installed in a single compact system.
